We're back! The kick-off of the first Venlonian student chess club ever was such a succes, that we decided to held another edition. This time there is lots of time for free play, so come join us between 18:00:20:00 in the Huiskamer.

We expect little experience, except how the pieces move. You will learn how important tactic is, openings and chess puzzles.

We will provide some snacks, drinks and chess boards. Everyone is welcome!

This event is for free, but don't forget to sign up!

De Student Chess Club is uitgegroeid tot een vast begrip en schaakliefhebbers komen elke tweede woensdag van de maand samen om hun spel te verfijnen en hun tegenstander schaakmat te spelen. Of je nu net begint met schaken, al een aardig potje kunt spelen of een ware schaakmeester bent, er is altijd wel een medestudent die je uitdaagt tot een duel.

Je bent welkom in onze Huiskamer op de bovenste verdieping om tussen 18:00 uur en 20:00 uur je hersenen te laten kraken tijdens het schaken. De schaakborden staan voor je klaar.

De Student Chess Club is helemaal GRATIS (aanmelden is verplicht).

The Student Chess Club has become a household name and chess lovers gather every second Wednesday of the month to develop their playing skills and to checkmate their chess mates. Whether you just started out with chess, play at an intermediate level, or are a true grandmaster, there’s always a fellow student who challenges you to a duel.

You are more than welcome at our Huiskamer on the top floor between 6 PM and 8 PM to flex your brain muscles over the chess board. The chess boards are ready for you.

The Student Chess Club is completely FREE (signing up is required).
